I believe in romance. Holding hands, tender kisses, hallmark cards and intimate conversations. Good friends describe me as “passionate”. I am passionate about my health, work and family. My positive outlook on life sees the “glass half full”. I enjoy music ,(all types) dancing, (East Coast Swing) good food and drink. I’m a “foody” and love to cook and entertain. Although I find myself single at 65 years of age I have been blessed to have had meaningful relationships throughout my life.
I am a lifelong learner. Health, Functional Medicine, Diet, Self Help topics and American History are just a few recent reads. I would love to know what subjects inspire you.
Some may think I’m a bit fanatical about staying in shape but I simply enjoy a healthy lifestyle and take life in moderation. I love playing tennis, enjoy my workouts at the gym and make time to hike the beautiful trails in Flagstaff and Phoenix.
My adult twins, who I adore, are now walking their own trails in life. As an orthodontist, I have found a career that I enjoy and gives me tremendous satisfaction. Semi-retirement offers me the opportunity to travel and lecture around the world. Reno, Miami, Las Vegas and Algeria to name just a few places. I teach at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Orthodontic School and Roseman Orthodontic Clinic in Las Vegas, and gain great satisfaction giving back to my profession. I am very fortunate to have found a career I truly love. So, yes, I feel very blessed.
I’m a Southern California Beach Kid and still consider Costa Mesa home. It was a great place to grow up and my brothers, who I am very close to, still live there. I don’t miss California but I do miss the beach, or more specifically the water. My brothers and I get together often and I swear you will think you’ve entered a comedy club. Our time together is always filled with endless laughter. (I may have to charge you admission.)
I attended UCLA and then USC for my doctorate. After 10 years in LA I wanted clean air and a mountain climate. My wish came true when a retiring orthodontist invited me to Flagstaff, Arizona.
Arizona has amazing weather and incredible diversity. I now call Phoenix home but my ultimate goal is to have a summer residence near a quiet lake.
