I can't run long distance and have no interest in fishing, football or rock climbing. What's a tennis player to do? I ride my bike around town looking longingly at the beautiful empty courts.... USTA summer league and Tennis in Your Park are over. I resorted to playing with my niece last Sunday, Lord help me. The city has done a great job rehabbing the public courts! So many courts, so few partners... I have other interests too - good fiction, live music at small venues, gardening, DIY projects. I believe the key to happiness is being of service to others (and also planning fun stuff to do every week). I live part time in LA and in Mpls. in the warmer months. I'm a lawyer working 90% remote looking forward to retirement in a few years. No specific timeline. Playing it by ear. My favorite people in the world are my grown kids and my siblings.
