Me: Active, healthy, intellectual and politically to the left--seeking someone similar. I read a lot and write a bit, Love the theater. I watch good films and serial television. I am not interested in televised sports.
Slim to athletic build: 6' 2, 180 pounds. I golf, cycle, hike, and lift a bit. Have rebuilt my tennis swing... turns out you don't get tennis elbow with good form. Have started to play mixed doubles and am looking for a new partner!
I have been fully separated 3 years and expect the final divorce decree this fall, at last! True facts: our custody evaluator had long-haul COVID, our judge retired because of COVID, and the new judge just started calendaring as of September. We are near the top of the list for final trial. Please be fully separated or divorced yourself.
Speaking of COVID, only fully vaccinated people, please.
I see my children Thursdays and alternate weekends.
I garden, play cards, cook when motivated, and drink wine.
I lived in New York until I was 35. I like talking about controversial or difficult subjects.
I am never bored, and don't like people who let themselves get bored either. Life is so interesting! I don't get how an intelligent person could ever be bored.
Some turnoffs: Insecure or avoidant attachment styles; smoking; sedentary habits or, on the other hand, exercising so much you don't have time to read, watch or talk about anything interesting. Silent or passive people don't interest me.
Most recent pre-Covid travel: The Azores, Aruba, Quebec, Tulum, Yellowstone. Covid cancelled trips: Lisbon, Barcelona, North Africa.
All-time favorite film: All About Eve, starring Bette Davis.
Favorite recent films: Joker, Get Out.
Reading now: Sonia Sotomayor's autobiography and climate-apocalypse fiction.
